Vjetrenica cave
Vjetrenica is by the diversity of subterranean fauna the first in the world, has 92 described species that are only adapted to life underground and in different conditions can not survive. Also, six additional species in the course of scientific descriptions.
 Described among the approximately 35 species that were first observed in Vjetrenica and to place their first invention (the so-called locus typicus), which is very important for the experts, because there are environmental conditions that allow these kinds of life. Also, 14 of them found only in Vjetrenica and nowhere else, even in the nearest cave system. Experts say it is a living museum, because all these animals became extinct on the surface of the land and now have representatives only in the underworld.
