There are a numerous caves available to explore throughout the BiH. And the good news is that majority of BiH caves are highly suitable for tourists to explore them. This will most definitely be the new thrilling adventure.
Maiden's cave has long tradition and is one of the most popular prayer and pilgrimage sites of Bosnian Muslims.The cave is located in the village of Brateljevici. The entrance is above the right bank of the River Bukovica, Drinjaca's tributary, and above 30 meters above the valley.
Vjetrenica is a protected park of nature and the special geological reserve at the edge of the Popovo Polje in the Ravno municipality and approximately 6,500 meters long. The cave is adorned with a number of lakes, several waterfalls, creeks, and one of its main attractions is the Great lake about 180 meters long.
The park of nature Bijambare with caves is at an area of 370 hectares and is extremely valuable for its natural wealth. Tourism on this area is well-developed thanks to easy access of the route connecting Sarajevo and Tuzla.
Part of the excursion site at Bebrava is Bebrava cave. The entrance to the cave is at 882 meters above the sea level. The total explored length of the cave is approximately 500 meters. The depth of the cave is about 50 meters below the entrance of the cave.
Tito's cave in Drvar is renowned for being the headquarters of the Yugoslav resistance at the beginning of 1944.
Orlovaca cave is one of the most gorgeous in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Colorful and dazzling stalactites and stalagmites, intertwined with helictites and draperies and fully formed columns, reminiscent of antique columns, adorn the inside of this magnificent structure.
Novak's cave is located on the steep slopes of the Romania Mountain at 1,515 meters above the sea level.
The source of the Miljacka River is in the cave located in Kadin Selo, near Mokro. It is the longest and one of the prettiest caves in Bosnia and Herzegovina. The cave offers great possibilities for extreme tourism without installed lighting or any manmade structures inside.
